Included with every licence
Inspecting the server, pre-flight, previewing every change, the health score with its reasons, status, validation, reports, log retention and certificate renewals, plus ServerMaid's own signed updates while the licence is in date. If a licence lapses, everything already built keeps working and ServerMaid becomes a read-only adviser until it is renewed.
What a licence changes
Modules make changes: Server setup builds and repairs; Websites creates sites with SSL; Backups runs and restores; Staging and Multiple PHP lines add their extras. A single-server licence covers that server for twelve months of modules and updates; renew it yearly from your account. Everything a module has already built keeps running if the licence lapses; only new changes wait.
Licences are files you install on the server, as many as you own. Each is activated for that server with servermaid.com when installed and confirmed again when you build or repair; no inbound port is needed. A single-server licence runs for twelve months from purchase; renew it from Your licences in your account (the renewal price is shown there), download the renewed licence file and install it on the server. If a licence expires its modules pause after a 14-day grace period and ServerMaid updates stop installing; websites, databases, scheduled backups and certificates already issued carry on.

Pricing questions
Single server or Agency: which one is for me?
One or two servers: buy the modules you need once per server; each licence covers that server for twelve months of modules and updates and is renewed yearly from your account. Three servers or more: the Agency licence covers three, six or twelve servers with every module, security drift alerts, priority support and updates for as long as you subscribe. Move up a tier when you add clients; larger agencies add more servers in packs of twelve on the twelve-server tier, and the price scales per pack.
Can I move a licence to another server?
Not by yourself: a licence is locked to the server it activates on, which is what keeps one licence from building server after server. If a server has been replaced or has died, write to support@servermaid.com with your order reference and we free the slot the same day. Agency licences cover several servers at once, each locked in the same way.
Do I need a licence for every website?
No. Single-server modules allow unlimited websites on that server.
Can I add modules later?
Yes. Each purchase is its own licence file; install every file you own and the server has all the modules you bought.
What about updates?
Updates are included while a licence is in date. A single-server licence includes every update released in its twelve months; renew it and the next twelve months of updates are included too. Once a licence lapses, ServerMaid updates stop installing on that server and its modules go read-only until it is renewed; everything already built keeps running.
What happens after twelve months on a single-server licence?
Everything already built keeps running: websites, databases, scheduled backups and certificates already issued carry on. Without a renewal, ServerMaid becomes a read-only adviser on that server: Setup, Websites, Backups, Staging and PHP lines stop making changes and ServerMaid updates stop installing, until the licence is renewed. More than twelve servers?
Pick the twelve-server Agency tier and use the plus button to add packs of twelve; each pack is priced at the twelve-server rate. For invoicing and a named contact, ask about Enterprise.
Do I still need a server specialist?
Not for the setup, the hardening, SSL, backups or day-to-day upkeep; that is what ServerMaid does, and it explains every step in plain English. Nor for a WordPress site: with the WordPress module (included in every Agency licence) one checkbox installs the latest WordPress into a site, connected to its own database user and hardened (file editor off, PHP refused in uploads, xmlrpc.php refused, security releases installing themselves) before you choose the admin user. If you already have someone, they get a server built to a baseline they can read and a report they can check.
Is SSL included?
Yes, with the Websites and SSL module (included in Agency and Enterprise licences) on a licence within its twelve-month period. The module gives every website a free certificate* from Let's Encrypt, trusted by every browser, installed with an HTTPS redirect and renewed automatically while the licence is in date. There is no yearly certificate fee.
Can ServerMaid move my websites from my old server?
Yes. Website migration is an add-on: £49 £24.50 one-off per old server. Download ServerMaid Migrate from your account, run it on the old Windows server with a one-time key, and it exports your websites and MySQL or MariaDB databases into one package; Import on the new server rebuilds each site the ServerMaid way, with nothing from the old setup reused. Agency and Enterprise licences include one migration per server they cover. How migration works.

Every build starts with a preview of exactly what ServerMaid will do on your server, and every step can be rolled back. If you buy and something does not work on your server within 30 days, email support and we will put it right or refund you.
